Shipping policy
All orders are processed and dispatched via Shopify. Presently, we only provide delivery services within New Zealand. According to the 2012 Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act, any orders containing beer must be signed for upon delivery. The courier may also request identification from individuals who appear to be under 25 years old. As a recipient needs to be present to sign for the package, we recommend having the delivery sent to your workplace or a business address. Couriers are instructed not to leave alcohol unattended.
Orders placed before 10 am from Monday to Thursday will be dispatched on the same day under normal circumstances. To prevent your order from being stored in a courier facility over the weekend, we suggest placing orders well before this time. Any orders received after 10 am on Thursday will be dispatched on Monday morning.
Kindly note that our courier service does not operate during weekends or public holidays. All orders are shipped using an overnight service in the North Island and a two-day service in the South Island. However, for orders intended for special occasions, we advise allowing 3-5 working days to ensure timely delivery.
Please factor in additional time for deliveries to rural addresses. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email notification containing a tracking number, enabling you to monitor your order's progress. Please be aware that it might take up to 24 hours for the tracking information to be available.
In the event that you do not receive your order within 5 working days of receiving the shipping confirmation email, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at sales@hbbc.co.nz. Kindly provide your name and order number, and we will gladly investigate the matter for you.
